Among other things, I have wanted to make video games for a number of years now. While waiting for TellTale Games to get their new Walking Dead game series going, I decided to get off my butt and finally start working towards my goal of becoming a game developer. Now, two months and several books/tutorials later, I've got a pretty decent start on my first two games. The first idea I've been working on is a point-and-click adventure game based on George Romero's 1968 classic, Night of the Living Dead. Preliminary work on the game is

I've recently completed a large body of work entitle TypeFace, which is a series of over 140 typographical portraits of famous faces & historical figures created using their own words - quotes, lyrics, poems, stories, whatever was available. These include portraits of authors & poets, musicians, actors, humanitarians, scientists, philosophers, dancers, and much more.

Artists in the digital era have had ever increasing difficulties in protecting their intellectual property. Should you detract from the visual impact of your piece by using a watermark? Is a simple copyright notification on your images enough to dissuade others from illicitly using your material for their own financial gain? More cumbersome than these decisions, until recently, was the monumental task of tracking down any potential misuse of one's artwork across the vast expanse of cyberspace. How can an artist find out how and where their images are being used?
